Ecosystems Services and Markets Class at UC Davis Extension

Craig Denisoff, owner of Craig Denisoff Consulting, will offer a one-day course titled, “Ecosystems Services and Markets” through UC Davis Extension on Thursday, Nov. 1. An optional half-day field trip will be held Nov. 2. Explore the innovative field of ecosystem services and learn how these habitat-based markets can provide new revenue streams to traditional open space, forest and agricultural lands. The course is designed for planners, appraisers, land attorneys, real estate professionals, land trust and government land managers.

Denisoff was a founding partner and vice president of Westervelt Ecological Services and Wildlands, Inc., two of the nation’s largest mitigation banking companies. He was assistant secretary for the California Natural Resources Agency and served as president of the National Mitigation Banking Association.
